PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Sunday, 9 May 2021

God our redeemer,
you have delivered us from the power of darkness
and brought us into the kingdom of your Son:
grant, that as by his death he has recalled us to life,
so by his continual presence in us he may raise us to eternal joy;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Amen.

THE SIXTH SUNDAY OF EASTER

Our Work of Prayer

Our prayers during times of crisis such as this pandemic, together and as individuals, is particularly important. Please Pray for those in our Parish and around the world, whose lives and livelihoods are at risk. Keep in your prayers our NHS staff, health care, care workers and key workers who are working so hard and whose work can put them in harm’s way.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding

The Church of England is committed to Promoting a Safer Church for everyone. Safeguarding is the action the Church takes to promote a safer culture.

We will seek to promote the welfare of children, young people and adults, work to prevent abuse from occurring, protect those that are at risk of being abused and respond well to those that have been abused. We will take care to identify where a person may present a risk to others, and offer support to them whilst taking steps to mitigate such risks.

If you have any concerns about a child, a young person, an adult who may be vulnerable or someone who works for or volunteers for the Church of England please contact:
