St Cuthbert's Act of Remembrance

Sunday November 13th 2016

Let us remember before God and commend to his sure keeping: those who have died for their country in war; those whom we knew and whose memory we treasure; those who have lived and died in the service of mankind.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old; age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

We will remember them.

Welcome to St Cuthbert's of Lindisfarne, Castle Vale

The Parish of St Cuthbert’s Castle Vale with St George’s Minworth is part of the Diocese of Birmingham in the Church of England.  On these pages you can find out something about our church and how we serve God and the people of our parish.

Our church building has a modern interior which gives a light, airy space for worship. It has two halls that are used by various different organisations for a variety of activities. The halls are also available for hire. If you would like more information about the facilities that are available, please contact our Hall Bookings Secretary.

St Cuthbert’s offers all you would expect of a church with regular services and services for the stages of life (such as weddings, baptisms and funerals). Details are listed on our Church Services page.

The present Incumbent is The Revd Father James Cope  S.S.C. and the Contacts details in the side bar can help you find others who may help with queries.

605 Squadron

Castle Vale was originally a Royal Air Force base where the 605 Squadron began its life. The church is home to the Squadron’s Roll of Honour.
